Ishrat Mushtaq Community Resource Persons - Enterprise Promotion (CRP-EPs) under SVEP
Ishrat Mushtaq's journey is a true testament of
resilience and determination. Despite facing
numerous challenges; she never let anything hold
her back. While she was expecting her child, she
filled up the form for the SVEP programme,
attended training sessions, and even appeared for
exams. She was often discouraged by people around
her but she persisted, believing that pregnancy was
just a physiological condition and not a deterrent in
any way. She continued with her usual work. When
she joined as a Community Resource Person–
Enterprise Promotion (CRP-EP) her son was just 17
days old. She joined as a Self-Help Group (SHG)
member and later became President of Village
