Role of Community Resource Persons - Enterprise Promotion (CRP-EPs) 5
The role of Community Resource Persons-Enterprise Promotion (CRP-EPs) under the
Startup Village Entrepreneurship Program (SVEP) is crucial in fostering rural
entrepreneurship. They conduct training sessions for Community-Based
Organizations (CBOs), Self-Help Groups (SHGs), Village Organizations (VOs), and
Cluster-Level Federations (CLFs), guiding them on enterprise development. They
facilitate entrepreneurship awareness, idea generation, and business planning
while providing general orientation, soft skills training, and field-based idea
validation. CRP-EPs support entrepreneurs in accessing loans, offer continuous
handholding during the startup phase, and track performance through the
Performance Tracking System (PTS) for six months. They establish market and
financial linkages, collaborate with banks, and update enterprise reports through
the Village Enterprise IT (VE IT) platform.
