Regional Conference on Entrepreneurship:

EDII as Knowledge Partner

Regional Conference on Entrepreneurship 2024 was held on December 13, 2024. It was
organized by Institution Innovation Council (IIC) of PSG College of Technology, Coimbatore.
The conference was supported by EDII as the Knowledge Partner. It featured 19 papers
focusing on various themes such as entrepreneurship education, cognitive aspects of
entrepreneurship, technology, innovations and sectorial ecosystems.

The Chief Guest, Professor Gopalan Jagadeesan from the Department of Aerospace
Engineering, Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bengaluru, released the conference
proceedings. He termed 'research' as an important area for continuous growth and
development in entrepreneurship and innovations. Dr. Sunil Shukla, Director General, EDII,
virtually congratulated the college for its efforts to organize the conference and stressed on
the importance of developing indigenous case studies tailored to the Indian
entrepreneurial ecosystem so that people could draw insights and build their own winning
pathways. Mr. Ganapathi Batthini, Sr. Librarian, EDII co-ordinated the conference. He
termed the conference as the need-of-the-hour for building a strong knowledge
infrastructure on the ever-evolving entrepreneurship and startup ecosystem .
