Strengthening Competencies of Resource

Persons to Ensue Entrepreneurial Excellence

Towards fostering entrepreneurial growth among youths, EDII's specially curated modules
for the academia, trains and institutes cadres of faculty members and resource persons
involved in teaching entrepreneurship at the school and college levels who, in turn train,
guide and counsel students to adopt entrepreneurship as a career. The Institute conducted
the following significant programmes over the last two months:

With the support of Department of Science and Technology - National Science and
Technology Entrepreneurship Development Board (DST – NSTEDB), Govt. of India,
Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on 'Entrepreneurship' was conducted at KBS
Commerce & Nataraj Prof. Sciences College, Vapi during January 6 to 18, 2025. The
objective of the programme was to guide and train 34 participants with the necessary
skills and knowledge related to entrepreneurship principles, processes and strategies.

EDII with the support of Gujarat Skill Development Mission (GSDM) organized a
leadership and Capacity Building Programme during January 27 to 31, 2025 on its
campus. 60 officials of Labour, Skill Development and Employment Department
participated in this Programme. The inaugural session was graced by Dr. Sunil Shukla,
Director General, EDII; Mr. Nipun Raval, Assistant Director, Directorate of Skill
Development; Mr. K.B. Patel, Assistant Director, Gujarat Skill Development Mission
(GSDM) and Dr. Satya Ranjan Acharya Professor & Director - Dept. of Entrepreneurship
Education.
