Mr. Krishan Mishra (batch 2001-2002)
Intrapreneur
Chief Executive Officer
Financial Planning Standards Board (FPSB ), India
Krishan Mishra’s journey is marked by notable
contribution to the field of education. Numerous awards
including the prestigious ‘Top 100 Leaders in Education’
award have from, time to time, underlined his hard work
and dedication. Krishan grew up with the learning that
the best way to reach the top is by being the best man at
the bottom.
After completing his Business Administration degree in Indore, Krishan enrolled for the Post
Graduate Diploma in Business Entrepreneurship at EDII. As he says, “The programme
helped me explore entrepreneurship, identify my interests, and develop business plans.
Entrepreneurial competencies that I learnt at EDII were invaluable. The best quality that I
acquired here, was to think strategically in every situation and before every action.”
Today, Krishan takes the onus of strategizing businesses and operations in Financial Services
and Professional Education Space. Over last two decades he has headed the Market
Development Division of various top global professional education companies in India and
abroad. He is currently the Chief Executive Officer of Financial Planning Standards Board
India. His responsibility is to build and grow Financial Planning Standards Board (FPSB’s)
Certified Financial Planner (CFP) certification in India. Krishan is focussed on educating and
building high standards of financial planning capabilities among students, practitioners and
firms in India, and increasing awareness among consumers about the need for ethical,
professional and trusted financial planning solutions.
