                           On 28th January 2025, Shri Shaji K V, Chairman, National Bank for Agriculture and Rural
                           Development (NABARD) & Hon’ble Member EDII Governing Board visited EDII and
                           addressed Principals of ITIs, EDII PG Students, FPM Scholars, Programme Participants,
                           GI-tagged Artisans, Faculty & Staff. Also presented on the occasion was Shri B K Singhal,
                           Chief General Manager, NABARD.

















                                  Shri Shaji K V said, “Entrepreneurship is critical for achieving the goal of Viksit
                                  Bharat  and  for  long-term  sustainable  growth.  NABARD  has  been  actively
                                  working in the domains of agriculture, rural development, capacity building,
                                  skilling and innovations, to build a new order wherein the rural populace gets
                                  gainfully employed. In achieving this, EDII has been a credible partner to us.
                                  Together,  we  envision  innovative  solutions,  a  conducive  ecosystem,  and
                                  development of rural clusters that hold a place in the demand-supply chain.”

























                           On January 21, 2025, EDII entered into an agreement with the Uttarakhand State Council for
                           Science & Technology (UCOST), Dehradun, to strengthen entrepreneurship ecosystem in the
                           science and technology domain within the state. As UCOST's knowledge partner, EDII will design
                           and implement short-term courses to promote science and technology-driven entrepreneurship.
                           Seen during the signing of the MoU are (2nd from L) Prof. Durgesh Pant, Director General, UCOST
                           and Dr. Sunil Shukla, Director General, EDII with senior officials of the two institutes.
