Inauguration was marked by the presence of (5th from L) Shri Hasan Miyalal Mushrif,
Hon'ble Minister of Medical Education, Maharashtra; ( 6th from L) Shri Karthikeyan S., Zilla
Panchayat CEO, and (1st from L) Ms. Sushma Desai, Project Director of the District Rural
Development Agency. Also present were Kolhapuri Chappal Cluster Board of Directors
(BODs) and Office Bearers.

EDII conducted scoping studies under NRLM-CDP for Chain Stitch Cluster, Gurdaspur, Phulkari
Cluster, Patiala and Wooden Craft Cluster, Hoshiarpur to assess the potential of the clusters and
thechallenges that these faces. The study came up with recommendations to improve productivity,
market access, efficiency and the ability to innovate.

Skilled Artisans from the Dahod
Pottery Cluster participated in
the PM Vishwakarna Exhibition
cum Trade Fair organized by the
Ministry of MSME, at Vastrapur
Hatt, Ahmedabad. Shri Umesh
Bhai Rathore, an artisan from
the cluster, showcased a
innovative range of pottery
products during the three-day
event. The artisans witnessed
commendable sale.
