Similarly, EDII is associated with several corporates, to impart training on skills and
entrepreneurship, leading to New Enterprise Creation. There are also benefits of inclusive
entrepreneurship and reverse migration which are visibly coming about.

Dr. Raman Gujral, Director - Dept. of Projects (Corporates) and Director - Southern
Regional Office, EDII opined, “EDII is supporting various corporates, such as Accenture,
Tata Communications, Tata Power, Xiaomi, IDBI Bank, SBI Foundation and many more,
through their CSR mandates in envisioning outcome-based programmes for women,
marginalized, underprivileged and youths to ensure inclusive development.”

The skilling initiatives are also particularly benefitting women. Youths are also a segment
that is being targeted through sensitization workshops, and several short and long
duration programmes to build skills and knowledge in them that make them employable
or develop in them the skills to set up own enterprises.
