Adani CSR Team Gets Skilled in Scaling up Micro Enterprises
EDII, at the behest of Adani Natural Resources organized a training session in
Singrauli, Madhya Pradesh to train its CSR team with competencies that help them
handhold MSMEs in diversifying and upscaling. Dr. Rajesh Gupta, Associate Senior
Faculty, EDII trained 41 team members in a 4-day training. The team represented
multiple states including; Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, Maharashtra, Gujarat,
and Madhya Pradesh. Participants gained insights into entrepreneurship
concepts, business opportunity identification, and effective enterprise
management strategies. They also developed soft skills such as business
communication, problem-solving and decision-making.
Participants actively deliberated on topics as diverse as rural entrepreneurship
ecosystems, business plan formulation, financial management, leveraging
government schemes for enterprise promotion, business idea pitching, marketing
rural products, data-driven decision-making and enterprise monitoring.
Participants also learnt about cluster development through case studies.
Chief Guest (2nd from L) Mr. Bacha Prasad, Senior Vice President & Chief
