Cross-Border Collaboration to Drive
Entrepreneurship
Cross border collaboration and exchange of ideas are crucial for accelerating innovation and
achieving global progress in entrepreneurship across domains and sectors. EDII undertakes
capacity-building programmes in diverse areas to share expertise and extend support to
professionals from developing nations. Under sponsorship support of Indian Technical and
Economic Cooperation (ITEC), Ministry of External Affairs, Govt. of India, EDII has been
promoting entrepreneurial growth and global partnerships. Annually, EDII conducts close
to 10 programmes, thus training 240 professionals from diverse sectors. Some of the
programmes conducted over the last two months include:
• Marine Agri-Entrepreneurship and Supply Chain Management
EDII launched International Programme on Marine Agri-Entrepreneurship and Supply Chain
Management December 5th 2024. The programme concluded on December 17th, 2024. 23
professionals from 14 ITEC partner countries came together to explore opportunities and
address challenges in marine agriculture and supply chain management.
Chief Guest Shri Viraj Singh, Additional Secretary (DPA-II & IV),
Ministry of External Affairs, Govt. of India at the inauguartion of
the programme. Addressing the programme, Shri Singh stated,
“India's commitment to fostering global partnerships through
programmes like these, demonstrate our shared vision of
sustainable growth and development. The idea of India offering a
helping hand to the world in their development journey came in,
with the country recognizing the significance of human capital
and skills in its own growth journey since independence.”
