However, sustaining and accelerating this momentum and making it widespread among
youths across sections of society, requires more intense efforts. These have to be
continuous and focussed to ensure minimal regulatory compliances, deeper collaboration
between academia and industry and an easy access to incubation and funding. A lot has
been achieved in this area but there are still paths to traverse to come a full circle.

For India, this is an era of burgeoning technologies and innovations with government
presenting opportunities and supporting entrepreneurs. But, for more high-tech ventures
to blossom across sectors, attitudes, abilities and mindsets also have to be in sync. It is
here that entrepreneurship training and education becomes important. Wisdom, expertise
and strategies are just as important as a business idea and its viability. So, it is high time
that as a society we acknowledge the significance of fostering entrepreneurship in
education. A well-curated entrepreneurship education curriculum focusses on creating
high achievers and entrepreneurs, so even if a student does not have particular interest in
entrepreneurship, she/he will tangibly benefit, given the broad applicability of such a
course. With its efforts in institutionalizing entrepreneurship education in
school/college/university campuses, EDII has been seeking to not just remove the
ambiguities surrounding 'entrepreneurship as a career' but also impart market relevant
knowledge to students focusing on an amalgam of entrepreneurial competencies,
business resourcefulness, strategic vison and an achiever's approach.

There is great happiness in seeing our youths beginning to adopt a systematic process to
new venture creation. This will ensure more success stories. And, let me add, reinforcing
entrepreneurship in education will further hasten the process, making India the fastest
                           growing Start up Nation.

                           Best wishes !!!
