Implementation of the
New Business Strategy: 2024-34
Under the leadership of President, Shri Rakesh Sharma, MD & CEO IDBI Bank Ltd. and with the
support of esteemed EDII Board Members & the Strategic Task Force, EDII is strategizing to firm
up its ten-year Business Strategy (2024-34) in view of the changing entrepreneurial landscape and
the need to align its mandates with the evolving national priorities. This strategy envisions
addressing the critical and emerging requirements of MSMEs and, simultaneously, looks forward
to ensuring sustainability and growth of the Institute through strategic focus on redefining and
contextualizing entrepreneurship education, research, training and capacity building. The
emphasis remains on competitiveness, innovation and incubation. The Strategy will have a
distinct focus on striking a balance with sustainable development goals, across various
initiatives, particularly when it comes to the implementation methodology of Government and
Corporate projects.
