EDII remains committed to enhancing the capabilities of professionals from
developing nations by fostering entrepreneurship, promoting best practices and
accelerating skill development.
Micro Enterprise Development (MED) Programme - Tripura
Micro Enterprise Development (MED) Programme, a component of the Start-up Village
Entrepreneurship Programme (SVEP), focuses on capacity building and enhancing the skills of
Community Resource Persons-Enterprise Promotion (CRP-EPs) and Self Help Group (SHG)
members. EDII, in collaboration with the Tripura Rural Livelihood Mission (TRLM), continued
the implementation of the MEDP across the blocks of Jubarajnagar, Rupaichari and Nalchar.
In the last two months, seven Training of Entrepreneurs’ programmes were conducted,
benefiting 230 participants. These interventions contributed significantly to strengthening
entrepreneurial competencies and enterprise-readiness among rural entrepreneurs.
