EDII Conducts Capacity Building


                              Programmes for Officials of

                              Survey of India


                              (under an on-going collaboration between the two organisations)

                              EDII  is  committed  to  supporting  institutional  strengthening  and  leadership
                              development through its specially curated training and mentoring programmes. In
                              this direction, the Institute organized two Capacity Building Programmes for officials
                              of the Survey of India, supported by Survey of India, Department of Science and
                              Technology, Government of India. These programmes were designed to enhance
                              managerial effectiveness, leadership orientation and strategic decision-making skills
                              among the officials.
                              A five-day Capacity Building Programme was conducted at the EDII from October 13 -
                              17, 2025. 25 Officials from the Survey of India participated in the programme. The
                              programme  was  focused  on  sharpening  managerial  skills,  improving
                              communication,  teamwork  and  building  a  deeper  understanding  of  strategic
                              planning  &  organisational  effectiveness.  The  programme  combined  interactive
                              classroom  sessions,  group  exercises  and  field  visit  to  ensure  comprehensive
                              learning.
                              A  second  programme,  specially  designed  for  Senior  Officials  of  Survey  of  India.
                              Additionally, the second programme was organized from October 29 - 31, 2025, a
                              total of 24 senior officials attended the programme. The three-day training covered
                              key topics related to leadership, strategy & market entry, decision-making skills,
                              change management and institutional development.
