• Cluster Development Executives (CDEs) Programme
The programme commenced on March 26 and concluded on April 8, 2025. 12
participants from 6 countries enhanced knowledge and skills to effectively
implement the Cluster Development Programme in their respective countries. They
got a comprehensive understanding of clusters and their significance, the dynamics
of MSMEs working in clusters and the critical role of trust-building and Cluster
Development Executive (CDE). The Course module covered essential topics such as
Understanding Clusters and their Internal Dynamics, Learning from Cluster
Interventions in Developed & Developing Countries, Business Profiling Instrument
and Value Chain Analysis, Cluster Diagnostic & Developing a Long Term Vision for the
Cluster, Action Plan Preparation, Implementation of Cluster Development
Programmes, Developing Business Development Service Market, Establishing
Common Facility Centre (CFC) among other critical domains. Dr. Rajeev Sharma,
Associate Professor was the Course Director. He appreciated the proactive
participation of participants in the learning process.
EDII is committed to strengthening the capabilities of professionals from developing
nations by fostering entrepreneurship, promoting best practices, and accelerating
skill development.

Entrepreneurial Skills & Competencies
Year after year, EDII has been nurturing the next generation of innovators, changemakers and
leaders through its specially designed summer camps for children and youth. So far, 5189
children and youth have been groomed through 99 National Summer Camps. These camps
serve as a dynamic platform to introduce the concepts of innovation, creativity, leadership
and entrepreneurial thinking. EDII aims to channelize the exuberance and energy of children
and youth towards adopting high-achievement competencies by developing their skills,
mindset, and confidence to embrace entrepreneurship as a viable career path.
This year, EDII conducted the 44th and 45th Summer Camps on Entrepreneurial Stimulation
for Children. The 44th camp, held during May 4–9, 2025, hosted 95 students from 12 states.
The 45th camp was organized during May 24 to 29, 2025 and saw participation from 110
students from 16 states. Both the camps targeted age group of 12–16 years, thus inspiring
participants to embrace the 'Spirit of Enterprise and Achievement'.
Tailored specifically for youths aged 16-22 years, the Institute also conducts National Summer
Camps on Entrepreneurial Adventures for youth. The 47th and the 48th Summer Camps were
conducted during May 12 – 21 & June 1 -10, 2025, at EDII Campus. The camps saw
participation of 133 youths from 14 states, including 1 participant from Quwait.
These specially curated summer camps aim at equipping children and youths with life skills
such as; problem-solving, innovation, teamwork, adaptability and leadership. The curriculum
includes classroom sessions, achiever interactions, field visits and simulation exercises. The
camps offer a unique life perspective to children and youth, thus shaping their behaviour and
responses to various situations and nurturing them into confident and high-achieving
individuals.
Shri Narendra Somani, Chairman and Managing Director, The Grand Bhagwati Group was the Chief
Guest at the Valediction of the 44th Summer Camp on Entrepreneurial Stimulation for Children.
Throwing light on the mandate of the camp, he stated, “These camps are a testament to the fact that
well designed initiatives can shape young minds. They not only impart essential life skills but also
offer a glimpse into the entrepreneurial journey. I am sure each participant will excel in life. My
heartfelt best wishes to each of you.”
