Building Entrepreneurship Ecosystem

                           EDII signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the University of Ladakh on 9th
                           August 2024 to promote entrepreneurship in Ladakh, especially among the youth by
                           training,  capacity  building,  handholding  and  mentoring  them  to  adopt
                           entrepreneurship as a career. The mandate is to develop an overall entrepreneurial
                           ecosystem in Ladakh.



                           EDII  in  conjunction  with  the  University  of  Ladakh  will  promote  entrepreneurship
                           education, training, policy research, innovations and incubation support across the
                           Union Territory of Ladakh by undertaking entrepreneurship education and ecosystem
                           building  activities  including;  creation  of  project  profiles  on  emerging  business
                           opportunities; creation of a pool of start-up mentors and industry experts; orientation
                           and training (EDPs) of students for taking up entrepreneurship as a career; streamlining
                           the operations of existing incubation centres & supporting start-ups and innovations
                           through training, counselling, mentoring and handholding interventions.
