Centre for Advancing and
Launching Enterprises
CrAdLE (Centre for Advancing and Launching Enterprises), EDII's Technology Business
Incubator initiated in the year 2016 has been guiding, supporting and mentoring more
than 120 startups. The incubator is supported and catalyzed by NSTEDB, DST, Govt. of India
and aims at fostering technology/knowledge based entrepreneurial startups in four niche
segments of manufacturing, food processing, renewable energy and healthcare.
Some of the significant activities during August and September include:
CrAdLE was awarded with "Best Startup Incubator of the Year 2024" by the World Stem &
Robotics Olympiad (WSRO) during India's largest robotics competition at Vigyan Bhavan, Science
City, in collaboration with the Department of Science & Technology (DST). Mr. Dhruv Patel,
Incubation Manager, CrAdLE was honoured with the "Best Mentor of the Year 2024" award.
• To expand national outreach of CrAdLE and attract new startups for virtual incubation
beyond Gujarat, CrAdLE partnered with D2D Youth Story for comprehensive social
media management, online events, and website enhancement.
• CrAdLE hosted two engaging online sessions titled 'Creating Social Impact Through
Business: Balancing Profit and Purpose' & 'Navigating the Gujarat Startup Ecosystem:
A Guide for Aspiring Entrepreneurs'. The sessions covered the fundamentals of
entrepreneurship, the role of incubators, funding opportunities available within
Gujarat, leveraging government support etc.
• CrAdLE received 16 inquiries for incubation programme, out of which 6 startups have
been selected for incubation.
