Dr. Suresh Prabhu, Former Cabinet Minister, Former
Member of Parliament, Chancellor, Rishihood
University visited the Institute on 22nd November, 2023
and engaged in an enlightening interactive session with
EDII faculty and students. The interaction focussed on
the evolving landscape of entrepreneurship in the light
of the rapidly changing job scenario. Dr. Prabhu offered
profound insights into entrepreneurs' need to identify
opportunities aligned with future socio-economic
trends. Furthermore, he delved into the role of
cooperatives in elevating the nation's GDP by
empowering individuals at the grassroots level.
Dr. Sunil Shukla, Director General, EDII along with On 18 Dec, 2023, Shri Punit Bali, CEO, Care India
other officials from EDII met Shri A. K. Sharma, visited EDII and exchanged his thoughts on
Hon'ble Minister of Urban Development, Govt of enhancing the impact of their initiatives towards
U.P. to explore possibilities of training street vendors sustainable livelihood.
on entrepreneurship and related possibilities.

Prof. Shreepad Karmalkar, Director, IIT Shri Somainder Singh, GM, NABARD along with
Bhubaneswar had a fruitful discussion to explore team members of NABARD visited the institute on 7
collaborative opportunities and academic synergies Nov, 2023 to understand EDII's specific initiatives
between IIT Bhubaneswar and EDII. within the NABARD cluster, particularly focusing on Dr. Sunil Shukla felicitating
