                          Project UDAYA is working towards promoting entrepreneurship among women and

 He Weaves a

 Glorious Story

 Hitesh Rathod, a skilful weaver, has been an HMI trainee
 from  Surendranagar's  district.  Hitesh  got  into  the
 profession of tangaliya weaving in 2019. However, given
 his  limited  exposure,  he  restricted  himself  to  basic
 practices and did not have the confidence to make it a
 full-time career.


 However, Hitesh joined the HMI Programme and participated in   several result-oriented
 interventions including capacity building sessions, soft skills training, and market linkages   Participants of the Ambassador Programme with (5th from R) Dr. Sunil Shukla, Director General,

 Hitesh excelled in hard and soft skills as well as expanded his network across the country. His
 dedication resulted in the development of a robust customer network, enabling him to sell
