Sunil Shukla
Director General

With over three and a half decades of experience in entrepreneurship education, policy research,
intrapreneurship development, MSME growth, cluster development and institution-building, Dr. Shukla’s
pioneering models have impacted diverse sections of people, nationally and globally. In close association
with Government Ministries & Departments at the Central and State/UT levels, Dr. Shukla has been playing a
pivotal role in shaping national and state level policy frameworks on entrepreneurship and establishing
Entrepreneurship Development Centres, thus accelerating the process of New Enterprise Creation and growth
of existing SMEs. Emphasizing on its dictates, he is now dedicated to strategically modernizing initiatives by
assimilating AI/ML and circular economy principles to drive innovation-led growth. As Editor of the ‘Journal
of Entrepreneurship’ and as the lead author of the World’s largest Annual Study on Entrepreneurship (Global
Entrepreneurship Monitor; Indian Chapter), he has been notably extending the frontiers of entrepreneurship.
Raman Gujral

33 years of noted experience in Entrepreneurship Development, demonstrating acumen in fostering budding
ventures and reinforcing established entrepreneurial pursuits. He has architected holistic micro-
entrepreneurship development programmes and structural paradigms for rural entrepreneurship, as well as
CSR-supported long-term projects under the aegis of eminent corporates in India. His work encompasses
Sustainable Livelihood, Microenterprise Development, and Business Opportunity Identification.
Satya Ranjan Acharya
Ph.D. (Economics), MBA (Finance) | satya@ediindia.org
Dr. Satya Ranjan Acharya is a National Teacher's Awardee 2023. His extensive experience in teaching and
consultancy, spanning over 27 years, underscores his deep expertise in financial management, idea
generation and business plan formulation. He is trained at Startup Accelerators through MASHAV - Israel's
Agency for International Development Cooperation and in the Application of Simulation for Entrepreneurship
Teaching at the University of Tennessee, USA. He is the Director of CrAdLE, a DST-sponsored incubator and
Atal Incubation Centre at EDII. Dr. Acharya is also significantly contributing to mega initiatives like the Student
Entrepreneurship Policy and Hastakala Setu Yojana of the Government of Gujarat.
Amit K. Dwivedi

Dr. Amit Kumar Dwivedi is a National Teacher's Awardee 2025. He has over 21 years of teaching and research
experience. He is a National Team Member of the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (GEM) India. Dr. Dwivedi
has co-authored nine GEM India reports and a Global Report on Women's Entrepreneurship Report: From
Crisis to Opportunity. He has authored research papers, book chapters, reviews and a textbook. Dr. Dwivedi
has presented his research at national and international conferences in India and abroad. He conducted
impact assessment and evaluation studies for various Government Departments and Development
Agencies. Dr. Dwivedi participated in a Training of Trainers programme for teaching 'Business Simulation',
organized by ILS, held at the University of Tennessee, Texas, USA.

Etinder Pal Singh

Has over 31 years of experience spanning academia, industry and international markets. With teaching and
research interests in Consumer Behavior, Retail, Relationship Marketing and Pedagogy, his career includes
leadership roles in India, the US and Canada, ranging from sales positions to academic leadership roles to
international assignments. Dr. Singh has conducted over 100 corporate training programs for organisations
such as FIS Global, Indian Oil, Maruti Suzuki, Kotak Mahindra, Cognizant, Lufthansa, and Honeywell, among
others. He remains actively engaged in research, consulting, and institution-building.
Lalit Sharma

With over 23 years of experience in corporate and academic settings, Dr. Sharma has been involved in shaping
and implementing skill development and entrepreneurship development policies of the Government of India.
He has executed programmes across multiple ministries, focusing on skill development, entrepreneurship
promotion, livelihood enhancement, cluster development and women empowerment. He has also been
instrumental in establishing Entrepreneurship Development, Startup Incubation and Livelihood Business
Incubation Centers across the country. His research work under the aegis of Policy Research Cell, Department
of Science & Technology, Government of India has been released in the form of a book by the former Hon'ble
Union Minister of Science & Technology.
Pankaj Bharti

Has over 26 years of teaching and research experience. Specialises in Social Psychology, Organisational
Behaviour and Research Methods. He is trained in conceptualising and developing measurement tools for
social science research. He has published nine papers and a book - Dehumanisation of Urban and Rural Poor.
Core competency lies in psychometric assessment administration and reporting. He is associated with over
20 national as well as international research projects and is a National Team Member of Global
Entrepreneurship Monitor (GEM), India. Has co-authored nine GEM India Reports.
Prakash Solanki

Specialises in conducting projects/programmes for New Enterprise Creation and Capacity Building of
development organisations. Possesses 27 years of experience in the field of entrepreneurship development,
with expertise in entrepreneurship concept, process, and practice, business opportunity guidance,
innovations, business plan, and enterprise creation process. Presently implementing projects to promote
entrepreneurship among women & PwDs in Maharashtra, sponsored by TATA Communications Ltd. & TATA
Power. Also involved in promoting science & technology-based entrepreneurship, capacity building
programmes for scientists and technologists, entrepreneurship development programmes for SC / ST youth,
International programmes on New Enterprise Creation for Majlis Amanah Rakyat (MARA), Malaysia.
