EDII signed an MoU with Higher Education Department, Govt. of Gujarat for the implementation
of the ‘Student Entrepreneurship Policy’ on 29th November, 2023. The MoU was signed in the
presence of Shri Rushikesh Patel, Cabinet Minister, Health & Family Welfare & Medical
Education, Higher and Technical Education, Govt. of Gujarat; Shri Mukesh Kumar, Principal
Secretary (Higher and Technical Education) Department, Govt. of Gujarat; Shri Parimal Pandya,
Director of Higher Education, Govt. of Gujarat and Dr. Sunil Shukla, Director General, EDII.
COLLABORATIONS AND ASSOCIATIONS
2023-24

On 6th December, 2023, EDII collaborated with IDBI Bank Ltd. to initiate the project 'Revitalising
Innovation for Sustainable Enterprises (RISE)'. The MoU was signed in the presence of Senior IDBI
officials - (R) Shri Rakesh Sharma, EDII President & Managing Director and CEO, IDBI Bank Ltd; (2nd
from L) Shri Saumya Chaudhuri, Chief General Manager, IDBI Bank Ltd and (L) Ms. Jayati
Chakraborty, General Manager, IDBI Bank Ltd. Seen above is Dr. Sunil Shukla, Director General, EDII
exchanging greetings with Shri Saumya Chaudhuri, post signing of the MoU. Also present on the
occasion was (3rd from R) Dr. Raman Gujral, Director, Dept. of Projects (Corporates), EDII.

On 16 February 2024, an MoU was signed
EDII signed an MoU with Higher Education between WeAct and the Commissionerate of
D e p a r t m e n t , G o v t . o f G u j a r a t f o r t h e Cottage and Rural Industries, Government of
implementation of the ‘Student Entrepreneurship Gujarat to boost economic development,
Policy’ on 29th November, 2023. The MoU was empower local artisans and drive sustainable
signed in the presence of Shri Rushikesh Patel, practices in Gujarat’s cottage industry. The
Cabinet Minister, Health & Family Welfare & Medical MoU was signed in the presence of Shri
Education, Higher and Technical Education, Govt. Pravin Solanki, IAS, Secretary and
of Gujarat; Shri Mukesh Kumar, Principal Secretary Commissioner of Cottage & Rural Industries,
