Cluster Development Activities Driving

                          Collective Growth




                          Clusters impart a unique competitive edge to enterprises, promote collaboration and
                          foster innovation. The National Rural Economic Transformation Project (NRETP), {now,
                          National Rural Livelihood Mission (NRLM) - Cluster Development Programme (CDP)},
                          launched  by  the  Ministry  of  Rural  Development  (MoRD)  has  appointed  as  Technical
                          Support Agency (TSA) to State Rural Livelihood Missions (SRLMs) to provide technical
                          assistance to artisan clusters. In the last two months, the following clusters were impacted
                          through result-oriented activities:
                                                                                                                                               The  sessions  focused  on  strengthening  knowledge  and  skills  for  effective
                                                                                                                                               implementation  of  NRLM–CDP  and  cluster  management  in  coordination  with
                                                                                                                                               stakeholders. Key areas covered included;  NRLM–CDP framework, artisanal value
                                                                                                                                               chains, supply chain management, governance structures of producer companies,
                                                                                                                                               Standard Operating Procedure (SOPs), business planning & revenue models, sales
                                                                                                                                               &  branding  strategies,  packaging  &  design,  digital  presence  and  leveraging
                                                                                                                                               government convergence.

                                                                                                                                               Dr. Rajesh Gupta, Project Director, remarked, “The training provided participants
                                                                                                                                               with  both  conceptual  clarity  and  practical  tools,  preparing  them  for  active
                                                                                                                                               engagement in upcoming cluster projects.”






                            August 27, 2025: The Dausa Rajshakhi Leather Producer Company Ltd. organized its first
                            Annual  General  Meeting  (AGM),  marking  an  important  step  in  its  journey  of  collective
                            growth. The meeting was attended by Board Members-cum-Shareholders, representatives
                            from  District  Mission  Management  Unit  (DMMU)  and  block  officials,  along  with  EDII
                            representatives.

                          EDII  has  initiated  cluster  development  under  NRLM–CDP  with  the  support  of
                          Umed–Maharashtra State Rural Livelihoods Mission in Latur, Maharashtra. As part of this
                          effort, a three-day Vision Building Workshop was organized for the  Board of Directors and
                          artisans  of  Latur  Bamboo  Products  Producer  Company  Ltd.  The  workshop  promoted
                          brainstorming  and  learning  over  leadership,  strategy  and  operational  planning.
                          Simultaneously, Common Facility Centre related work gained momentum, and obtaining                    Micro  Enterprise  Development  Programme  (MEDP),  a  component  of  the  Start-up  Village
                          Business Commencement Certificate (BCC) for Producer Company’s operations was also                    Entrepreneurship Programme (SVEP), focus on capacity building and enhancing the skills of
                          bolstered.
