EDII Conducts Capacity Building Programme

 for Senior-level Officials of Survey of India



 Processes,  systems  and  institutions  are  all  adopting  contemporary  ways  of  strategic
 decision making and leadership. Constant systems innovations and step matching with
 new rules of the game are the need-of-the-hour for institutions and companies to grow
 manifold. Responding to this, and under the ongoing collaborative association of the
 institute and the Survey of India, Department of Science and Technology, Government of
 India, a series of strategic initiatives have been envisioned by EDII to promote innovation,
 entrepreneurship, and institutional effectiveness. A key initiative under this partnership is
 the Capacity Building Programme designed specifically for senior-level officials of the
 Survey of India.
 Recently, during 7th to 9th July 2025, EDII conducted a Capacity Building Programme for
 senior-level  officials  of  the  Survey  of  India,  Department  of  Science  and  Technology,
 Government  of  India.  20  senior  officials  participated  in  this  programme  especially
 designed to enhance strategic orientation and leadership capabilities among the top-tier
 professionals within the organization.

 The  three-day  programme  was  structured  around  the  'knowledge-skills-aptitude'
 framework to ensure holistic development. Knowledge dissemination took place through
 well-curated training material and expert-led classroom sessions, while skills were honed
 using  simulation  games,  role  plays,  and  focussed  group  discussions.  Aptitude
                            The valedictory session of the programme was graced by Shri Hitesh Kumar S. Makwana, IAS,
 development was reinforced through hands-on learning, enabling participants to apply
 key concepts in practical settings. Psychometric assessments were also integrated to   Surveyor General of India and Dr. Sunil Shukla, Director General, EDII.
 provide  insights  into  participants'  behavioural  patterns  and  thinking  styles,  further
 enriching  the  learning  experience.  The  curriculum  was  designed  to  support  the
 participants in building holistic leadership capabilities and enhance their decision-making
 and stakeholder engagement skills.
