State-wise Highlights over June – July, 2025
 Uttar Pradesh
 Entrepreneurship Development Programme was conducted from July 10 - 18, 2025 at BRC
 Bankati (Basti district), thus equipping 90 rural youths with entrepreneurial skills.

 Jammu & Kashmir
 Enterprises promoted till date: 1,11,381
 In the last two months several activities were undertaken in Jammu & Kashmir to promote
 Loans disbursed: Rs. 271.09 Cr.
 entrepreneurship. A Detailed Project Report (DPR) Orientation Programme engaged 18
 officials from 12 blocks, guiding them on the finer nuances to be observed while preparing
 Udyam Registrations ensured: 18,319 enterprises
 a DPR. This was followed by block-level orientations on SVEP and Baseline Surveys at
 various locations, reaching over 250 participants.

 Programme
 Development of rural locales by creating more opportunities for achieving inclusive and
 sustainable growth, and equipping people to harness these opportunities is one of the
 foremost  concerns  of  the  nation.  Towards  this,  the  Start-up  Village  Entrepreneurship
 Programme (SVEP), which is a sub-scheme of the Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana - National
 Rural Livelihoods Mission (DAY-NRLM) is rewarding in terms of the results it generates. The
 scheme aims to help members of Self-Help Groups (SHGs) to launch small enterprises in
 the non-farm sector. As the National Resource Organisation (NRO), EDII implements SVEP
 to  promote  entrepreneurship  and  foster  financial  independence  in  rural  areas.  This
 initiative strengthens local economies and also contributes in the overall economic growth.  (L) Dr. Piyush Sinha, Senior Visiting Professor, EDII moderated a session on 'Building Brands,
                            Empowering Women', discussing branding strategies, long-term value delivery and leveraging
                            successful state-led models such as Palash (Jharkhand) and Shrishti Shree (West Bengal). The

                World Youth Skills Development Day
 Under SVEP, 1,11,381 enterprises have been promoted till date; Rs. 271.09 Cr. have been
 disbursed as loans and Udyam registrations have been ensured for 18,319 enterprises.
 Over June - July 2025 significant skill building activities and loan disbursements were
 undertaken in several states including, Uttar Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Chhattisgarh,
 Maharashtra, Telangana, Tripura and Uttarakhand.
