Nurturing Entrepreneurship for Sustainable                                                                     This  Entrepreneurship  Development  Programme  reflects  the  EDII  and  Arunachal

                          culture in the state by developing skills, knowledge and mindsets.

                          As a significant step towards fostering entrepreneurship and self-reliance in Arunachal
                          Pradesh, an Entrepreneurship Development Programme (EDP) was held during April 21st to
                          25th, 2025 at Itanagar. The programme was supported by the Department of Industries,
                          Govt. of Arunachal Pradesh and organized by the EDII. Shri Nyato Dokum, Hon'ble Minister
                          of  Industries,  Government  of  Arunachal  Pradesh,  inaugurated  the  event.  Government
                          officials and entrepreneurs also attended the programme.

                          The EDP empowered 30 selected aspiring entrepreneurs by equipping them with essential
                          skills and knowledge to launch and sustain their business. Participants received training in
                          key  areas  such  as  business  planning,  financial  management,  marketing  strategies,
                          government schemes and the use of digital tools for entrepreneurship.
                                                                                                                                          The third phase of the Micro Skillpreneurship Development Programme (MSDP), supported by
                                                                                                                                          the  Tripura  Rural  Livelihood  Mission  (TRLM),  has  commenced  in  three  blocks  of  Tripura:
                                                                                                                                          Rupaichari (South Tripura), Nalchar (Sepahijila), and Jubarajnagar (North Tripura). The 15-day
                                                                                                                                          residential Capacity Building & Certification Programme for 30 CRP-EPs from these blocks has
                                                                                                                                          been successfully completed.

















                          In his inaugural address, Hon'ble Minister highlighted the importance of entrepreneurship
                          in driving economic growth and job creation in the state. “Arunachal Pradesh has vast
                          potential  in  sectors  like  tourism,  agriculture,  handicrafts,  and  agro-based  industries.
                          Through initiatives like the EDP, we are not just nurturing local talent but empowering our
                          youth to become job creators instead of job seekers,” he stated. In his speech he also
                          acknowledged EDII for organizing such programme.
