Recommendations:
• Academic and non-academic interaction for students and
faculty with industries, needs to be focussed upon actively.
• Students need to be actively involved in research projects,
and support can be enhanced for student research projects.
• Accent on innovation and entrepreneurship will yield tangible
results.
• Increasing the number and variety of internships (short-term,
long-term, project-based) with pharmaceutical industries,
enhancing students' practical learning and exposure to real-
world industry challenges.
• Creating centrally funded research parks and incubators with
state-of-the-art facilities to support innovation,
experimentation, and technology transfer.
• Encouraging the pharmaceutical industry to participate more
actively in academia by providing regular internships,
sponsoring research projects, engaging in career fairs,
establishing mentorship programs, and sharing industry data
and trends.

Deliberations...
10th June, 2024: EDII entered in an MoU with Infibeam Avenues Ltd, to jointly work
towards enhancing AI adoption and growth in India. The MoU will foster AI adoption
among enterprises, start-ups, and MSMEs. As part of the MoU, Infibeam Avenues Ltd has
successfully implemented and deployed THEIA Platform, an advanced video AI Developer
Platform, at EDII campus. This deployment will provide EDII's students and entrepreneurs
with cutting-edge tools to develop their own AI products using the THEIA platform,
thereby enhancing business efficiency and capabilities.
Infibeam Avenues Ltd will also support EDII by implementing 'EDII Campus Solutions' in
digital monitoring and AI-based security measures.
