Project SAMVRUDDHI, is a collaborative effort between EDII and the Indo-German
development cooperation project ERADA, supported by Deutsche Gesellschaft für
Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH. This Project, initiated in June 2023, aims to
empower and mainstream marginalized communities from rural areas through various Handholding Women to Rise and Shine
capacity-building activities with a focus on livelihood creation, entrepreneurship ...with the Support of National Commission for Women
The project is an innovative move towards empowering individuals for positive change,
development, and self-employment.

Currently, SAMVRUDDHI is strengthening roots in 4 states, comprising Rajasthan, Madhya
Pradesh, Bihar and Jharkhand, with a commitment to fostering sustainable development in
these regions. Since its inception, the project has successfully conducted 19 programmes,
leading to 720 participants trained for self-employment and enterprise creation.
In the past quarter, 9 six-day Micro Enterprise Development Programmes (MEDP) and a five-
day Mentor Development Programme in Entrepreneurship were conducted, benefiting 331
participants and 35 mentors.

of Sikkim, inaugurated the Sikkim Entrepreneurship Awareness Programme in Sikkim with
assistance from Pradhan Mantri Van Dhan Yojana (PMVDY) State Implementing Agency-
Corporation Department Govt. of Sikkim. Also seen are Guest of Honour, Ms. Jabi Thapa, Principal
Registrar; Shri K. Cherry, Registrar and Shri Indramani Adhikari, Joint Registrar, Corporation
Department, Govt. of Sikkim.
