t is a ma er of pride that India holds the Presidency of the G20 from 1 December 2022 to
30 November 2023. G20 encompasses a range of issues including; trade, sustainable
Idevelopment, health, agriculture, energy, environment, climate change etc. EDII
proac vely par cipated in some of the ac vi es organized under the aegis of G20.

EDII organised a Handicra Exhibi on under the aegis of G20 at Dhordo, Kachchh. At the Shri Bhupendra Patel, Hon’ble Chief
exhibi on, ar sans trained by EDII under the HastKala Setu Project showcased their unique Minister of Gujarat taking a look at
handmade crea ons. the products by EDII trained ar sans
at Hastkala Stall in the Expo organized
by Vadodara Chamber of Commerce
& Industry. Several corporates visited
the pavilion and appreciated the new
designs and products, exploring op ons
for Corporate gi ing. Nearly, 13000
people visited the pavilion in the
2-day exhibi on.

At the exhibi on, Shri G. Kishan Reddy, Hon’ble Shri Parsho am Khodabhai Rupala, Union Cabinet
Minister of Tourism, Culture and DoNER, Govt. of Minister of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and
India, being felicitated by Mr. Brijesh Dave, Dairying, Govt. of India, taking a look at the
Sr. Manager, EDII and Hastkala Project Coordinator. unique products in the exhibi on.

EDII is implemen ng the Hastkala Setu project in
33 districts of Gujarat under the aegis of the
Gujarat Government's Commissionerate of
Co age Industries. One of the cra s being
ac vely supported by EDII is ‘MATA NI PACHHEDI’.
EDII has facilitated the forma on of coopera ve
for ar sans working on this cra , and has also
helped them expand their outreach through
various innova ve models and measures. Shri Jagdish Panchal, Hon'ble Minister, Co age & Rural Smt. Seema Latkar, Superintendent of Police, Mysore and
EDII project team also rendered support in (L) Dr. Milind Kamble, Founder Chairman, DICCI and EDII Industries, Gujarat, inaugurated a 3-day exhibi on held Smt. K. M. Gayathri, CEO, Mysore Zilla Panchayat at the
easing out legal formali es towards procuring Governing Board Member and (R) Dr. Sunil Shukla, Director under Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat ini a ve, at Gujarat Handicra s Utsav organized by JSS Mysore
Geographical Indica on (GI) registra on for General, EDII during their visit to the Hastkala Stall at the Ahmedabad Haat. The exhibi on was organized by Govt. Urban Haat. EDII trained ar sans par cipated in the
