 National Education Policy – 2020 Implementation  Temple Based Economy


 The centre aims to entrepreneuralize the mindset of students in Higher Education Institutes   The  Centre  will  assess  the  growth  potential  for  selected  temple  economies  and  formulate
 (HEIs) and place them on the path of the entrepreneurship; promote entrepreneurship among   strategy and action plan for harnessing such potential. It will seek to promote economic growth
 students  pursuing  skill-based  and/or  vocation-based  programmes  and  institutionalize   by  catalyzing  new  enterprises,  expanding  existing  enterprises,  promoting  employment,  skill
 entrepreneurship education in the HEIs.  development and such related tasks to ensure sustainable development of temple towns. The

 Primary Activities
 ·   Develop of a Robust Module on Entrepreneurship for HEI Students.  Primary Activities
 ·   Undertake Entrepreneurship Promotion among Skill/Vocation – Programme Students.   ·   Undertake studies addressed at both integrated development as well as specific aspect
                        development of selected temple towns in India.
 ·   Contextualize  Entrepreneurship  Education  to  Domain-specific  Programmes,  with
 domains including; science, technology, engineering, mathematics (STEM), humanities,   ·   Gather baseline data in respect of selected temple towns.

 October 8, 2023: Hon'ble Governor of Himachal Pradesh, Shri Shiv Pratap Shukla, inaugurated the Centre for Implementa on of   November 20, 2025: A Vision Document on Centre for Temple-Based Economy was also released by (4th from R) Dr. Hari Babu
