                Diversity, Equity & Inclusion                                                                                      School Entrepreneurship

                    ·   Hold  entrepreneurship  development/promotion  programmes  exclusively  for  the
                        regions/groups which are under-represented.                                                                    ·   Incorporate project-based learning methodologies that encourage students to work on

                    ·   Monitor  the  diversity  index  of  participation  in  ongoing,  mixed  entrepreneurship
                        programmes and formulate guidelines, to increase diversity.                                                    ·   Implement regular training sessions for teachers to equip them with the necessary skills
                                                                                                                                           and knowledge to teach entrepreneurship effectively.
                    ·   Undertake specific post-EDP work to judge the incidence of inequity and devise ways to
                        promote equity.                                                                                                ·   Foster partnerships with local entrepreneurs and businesses to provide mentorship,
                                                                                                                                           guest lectures, and student internship opportunities.
                    ·   Offer  Programme  on  Diversity  Equity  &  Inclusion  to  stakeholders  and  members  at
                        various tiers of the ecosystem.                                                                                ·   Establish structured mentorship programmes that connect students with experienced
                                                                                                                                           entrepreneurs who can provide guidance and support.
                    ·   Undertake an across-the-scheme examination of policies pertaining to priority groups
                        and regions, in order to suggest a more effective policy set addressing DEI priorities.                            Organize competitions that challenge students to develop business ideas, encouraging
                                                                                                                                           creativity and practical learning applications.
                    ·   Conduct study among selected startups to assess their efforts in building DEI levels in
                        their startups, and recommend actions for improvement.




                Family-Managed Businesses


                The Centre aims at strengthening the performance of family business in India through provision
                of  knowledge  and  experience  sharing;  enhancing  the  competitive  strength,  expansion,
                diversification and modernisation prospects of family business and building a repository of
                knowledge upon which family businesses can draw proactively.


                    Primary Activities
                        Build  on  the  knowledge  that  EDII  already  possesses  on  family  business  dynamics,
                        succession planning, transition management governance issues, dispute resolution etc.
                        Train/counsel owners of family businesses on identifying future leaders, establishing a
                        decision making & a conflict resolution process
                        Offer programmes/forms of engagement focussed specially on women owners who are
                        active managers in family business.
                        Establish  a  cell  to  counsel/guide  family  business  owners  who  participated  in  the                January 28, 2026: The vision document on Centre for School Entrepreneurship was released by (3rd from R)
