• Collaboration with the Government of Goa

November 12, 2025: The Institute collaborated with the Government of Goa to
implement Mukhyamantri Swayam Rozgar Yojana (MSRY). The Mukhyamantri
Swayam Rozgar Yojana (MSRY) is a flagship initiative of the Government of Goa,
launched to promote self-employment, innovation and entrepreneurship across
the State. Implemented by EDC Limited in collaboration with EDII – Goa Centre,
under the overall supervision of the Directorate of Industries, Trade, and
Commerce (DITC), the scheme aims to foster a vibrant and inclusive
entrepreneurial ecosystem.

Hon'ble Chief Minister of Goa, Dr. Pramod Sawant, launched the document for the
MSRY. Also present on the occasion were (R-L) Dr. Sunil Shukla, Director General, EDII;
Mr. Asvin Chandru, IAS, Director, Directorate of Industries, Trade and Commerce (DITC),
Govt. of Goa; Shri Santosh Sukhadeve, Secretary (Industries, Trade & Commerce), Govt,
of Goa; Shri B. S. Pai Angle, Managing Director, EDC Ltd. and Dr. Abdul Razak, Associate
Faculty, EDII.

It is heartening to note
