Recently, the Institute organized a 15-day Entrepreneurship Fortnight
(Udyamita Pakhwada) 2025, to spread an even stronger awareness about
entrepreneurship across the country. Various activities under this programme
gave us an opportunity to reach out to women, youth and different sections of
the society. Through this celebration we were successful in explaining and
motivating people about entrepreneurship as a promising career.

As a national resource institute, EDII is committed to nurturing the spirit and
energy of entrepreneurship within the society and this celebration reflected
our belief in the power of a strong entrepreneurial ecosystem.

I am glad and thankful that the governments also, at the state and national
levels are promoting entrepreneurship, given its benefits in creating
employment, catalysing innovations and driving economic development. In
this fortnight of celebration also, we were ably supported by the Governments
of different states. This support encourages us to pursue more initiatives in the
future that will impact the wider public.

The immediate results of the Entrepreneurship Fortnight have been
encouraging, I am confident that its long-term results will be even more
inspiring and satisfying. I express my heartfelt gratitude to all the institutions,
departments and individuals who stepped forth in support of our effort.
