ntrepreneurship plays a vital role in the economic and social progress of any nation.
Entrepreneurs are truly nation-builders; they are job creators, innovators and the driving
Eforce of inclusive economic growth. Entrepreneurship contributes to reduced poverty,
decreased unemployment rates and raised standards of living, all of which are primary factors in
the development of a nation, which leads to overall development of the country. EDII has been an
advocate of the benefits that entrepreneurs bring to a society and an economy. As India moves
towards becoming a global economic powerhouse, the contribution of entrepreneurs will be even
more crucial. Drawing inspiration from EDII, numerous institutions across the country are taking
the lead in promoting entrepreneurship.
