The Institute also extends a helping hand to its trainees after completion of the training
 programmes. A testimony to this is the WeAct (the Chambers of Commerce for Women)
 platform  Supported  by  Accenture.  The  women  trained  under  its  programmes  are
 onboarded on the WeAct platform. So far 21,095 women have been extended support
 through marketing tie-ups, skill development programmes and exhibition etc.

 Development Programme, total 48 Group enterprises and 201 Individual enterprises got
 empowered.

                           An  important  segment  that  EDII  is  addressing  and  also  significantly  reviving  is  the
                           handicrafts and handloom sector. Presently under Project HMI (2024-27), supported by
                           HSBC, EDII has, over last two months, empowered over 150 weavers across ten villages of
                           Bhuj (Gujarat) and Erode (Tamil Nadu) and facilitated convergence with Government
                           schemes. 1550 weavers are enrolled under the project.
 Under Project Subhalaxmi Udyogini, a Handloom Training Programme was inaugurated at
 Raghunathpali village, Kirmira Block. 30 women artisans were imparted handicraft skills.
