Dr. Sunil Shukla extended a warm welcome to Shri Shaji K V, Chairman, National Bank
for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) and Shri Rahul Bhave, Deputy
Managing Director, IFCI Limited, as esteemed members on EDII Governing Board.
Director General also briefed the Hon’ble members about EDII activities, its long-term association with
NABARD and IFCI Ltd., and the collaborative programmes which could be undertaken to address significant
agendas and needs.

EDII has been organizing Biennial Conferences on Entrepreneurship since 1994. These conferences, organised
under the aegis of Centre for Research in Entrepreneurship Educa on and Development (CREED) (setup by EDII),
provide a forum for researchers, educators, and prac oners to share their research findings and experiences in
entrepreneurship development.
The Sixteenth Biennial Conference on Entrepreneurship invites researchers, scholars, educators, professionals
and prac oners to contribute papers and reports in the field of entrepreneurship theory and prac ce. For details

academicians, and symposiums on various themes. Doctoral students will have a special opportunity to discuss
their research with senior academicians in the Doctoral Colloquium which will be held on February 25, 2025.
Submission Guidelines and Deadlines:
• An extended abstract (approximately 2000 words) should be submi ed through the conference website
) by September 14, 2024.

• Decisions on the acceptance of extended abstracts will be made by October 11, 2024.
• The full paper must be submi ed by December 13, 2024. (The full paper should not exceed 5000 words, be typed
double-spaced, and follow APA style referencing. Refer to the guidelines available on the conference website.)
• Decisions on the acceptance of full papers will be made by December 31, 2024.
• The last date for registra on is January 17, 2025.
Selected papers will be appreciated based on merit.

Obituary

EDII has fond memories of its more than
two decades of association with
Dr. B.B. Siddiqui.
As a Clinical & Organizational
Psychologist, Dr. Siddiqui made
invaluable contributions to the Institute’s
work in the domains of HRD,
organizational behaviour and leadership
development.
EDII family is deeply saddened
Dr. B.B. Siddiqui by the loss and prays to the
almighty for the departed soul to
