and Aleuritic acid.
Vivek is the Director of Chemshel, Purulia, West Bengal, world’s leading
manufacturers of Seedlac
and Aleuritic acid. Under

Chemshel ventured into
the manufacturing of
A m b r e t t o l i d e , a
perfumery chemical used
widely in fine fragrance,
detergents, body care and
home care products,
which is a replacement to
the traditional Musk from
animals. Vivek is the
recipient of ‘Entrepreneur of the Year Award, 2022 by South Bengal Chamber of
Commerce and Industry. Chemshel is providing support to more than 1500 tribal
families in Chota Nagpur region by procuring LAC from them.
