Na onal Handloom Award
Accenture supported MSDP beneficiaries, Ms. Archana Saharia Kalita was
honoured during the Na onal Youth Day celebra ons on 12 January 2026
for her remarkable work in mushroom cul va on. The award was
presented by Mr. Dilip Saikia, Hon'ble Member of Parliament
(Darrang–Udalguri).
Shri Bhojrajbhai Damjibhai, a differently-abled Mashroo weaving ar san from Gadhshisha in Kutch and a
beneficiary of Project HandMade in India (HMI), was conferred with the pres gious Na onal Handloom Award.
Shri Giriraj Singh, Hon'ble Minister of Tex les, Government of India presented the award on the occasion of the
11th Na onal Handloom Day (August 7, 2025). Also present were Ms. Kangana Ranaut, Member of Lok Sabha and WeAct Women Entrepreneurs Get Recognized
senior officials from the Ministry.
