Department of Developing Economy Engagement
EDII efforts in promoting entrepreneurship at International level have gained firm grounds. The 6
Entrepreneurship Development Centres established in Cambodia, Lao PDR, Myanmar, Vietnam,
Uzbekistan and Rwanda are undertaking impact making interventions in deep-rooting
entrepreneurship. Also, EDII's engagement with the Ministry of External Affairs, Govt. of India has
provided it with a platform to expand its international outreach through training and capacity
building.

This Department has been making a significant contribution to the global Entrepreneurship
Ecosystem. The department engages with National and International Governments to promote
entrepreneurship across nations to :
Promote Knowledge sharing and dissemination
Create a diverse platform for learning and practicing entrepreneurship
Enhance exchange between the entrepreneurs of India and host countries
Promote collaborative effort between the policy makers of the two countries
Conduct joint research and projects with academia, professionals, and policy makers
Encourage technology transfer and knowledge sharing
Develop entrepreneurial ecosystem partnerships
