EDII Hosts 24th Convocation: 74 Students

Institute gets recognised for its endeavors in Graduate across Entrepreneurship Programmes

With every passing year, EDII has continued to strengthen its commitment to nurturing
entrepreneurial talent. On May 30, 2025, the Institute celebrated the graduation of 74

Education Excellence Conclave entrepreneurial journey. The event was graced by Chief Guest Dr. Vijay Kumar Saraswat,
2025, organized by Zee News Member, NITI Aayog, Former Secretary, DRDO and Distinguished Scientist. Also present

Capacity Building Programme for Officials of Survey of India Kumar Saraswat, Member, NITI Aayog, Former Secretary, DRDO and Distinguished Scientist; (2nd from

Among the 74 students who graduated, 64 were awarded Post Graduate Diploma in
Management – Entrepreneurship, 8 were awarded Post Graduate Diploma in
Management – Innovation Entrepreneurship & Venture Development and 2 received
Fellow in Management. Dr. Vijay Kumar Saraswat presented scholastic and sports
awards, and delivered the convocation address.

The Chief Guest, Dr. Vijay Kumar Saraswat; President - EDII, Shri Rakesh Sharma and Dr. Sunil Shukla had insightful
interactions with EDII faculty.

EDII organized a Capacity Building Programme for Officials of Survey of India during April 28th to May 2nd,
2025. 28 Officials from the Survey of India participated in the programme. The programme aimed at
inculcating critical behavioural skills and strategic frameworks for executing innovative approaches
alongside inducing functional excellence. It focused on developing sensitivity to environmental changes,
fostering stakeholder orientation and enhancing leadership capabilities. Additionally, the programme
sought to inspire a culture of achievement and enterprise within the institution by promoting critical
thinking, problem-solving and data-driven strategy development for sustainable growth. The programme
also had the critical component of field visits, where participants tested the application – orientedness of
classroom training. Dr. Amit Kumar Dwivedi was the Programme Director. He appreciated the eagerness of
the participants towards drawing the maximum out of the programme inputs.
