In a recent WeAct Energizer Workshop, conducted on May 8th 2025, 40 beneficiaries from
Tamil Nadu and Karnataka were enlightened by various aspects of entrepreneurship,
business promotion and legal compliances. The team of Project Sankalp successfully
organized two Mega Exhibitions at the corporate campuses of Standard Chartered Bank in
Chennai and Bengaluru. These exhibitions provided a powerful platform to 40 grassroots
entrepreneurs to understand of modern business trends and practices.

Artisans Get a Strategic Push
One of the important target groups is the artisan community. The HandMade in India
Project (Phase 2, being implemented in Erode and Bhuj) supported by HSBC addresses the
concerns of this group to ensure that their business becomes mainstream. Under the
project, to aid artisan formalization and access to government programmes, 37 Artisan
Card applications were submitted in the villages of Sangnara, Bhadali, Kukma, and Moti
