Turning Ideas into Enterprises… National Academic Immersion Programme

India is positioned as the 3rd largest startup ecosystem in the world. Yet, for many students and professionals, converting their ideas into enterprises remains challenging. To address this need, EDII designed the National Academic Immersion Programme (NAIP) in collaboration with MIT World Peace University (MIT-WPU), Pune.

The National Academic Immersion Programmes were conducted in two batches from April 7 to 18, 2026 and April 22 to May 2, 2026, at EDII campus. These residential programmes offered experiential entrepreneurial learning to 116 students and faculty members from MIT-WPU, Pune. The programme covered various topics such as; creativity & innovation, design thinking, startup ecosystem, business model canvas, financial literacy for startups, marketing fundamentals, revenue models, operations management, green entrepreneurship and data-driven entrepreneurship.

The programmes curriculum also encompassed expert-led sessions with simulations, team-building activities, interactions with entrepreneurs, group presentations and industrial visits.
