370 Participants from 19 States Get Groomed in National Summer Camps 2026

Over the last more than 32 years, EDII has been developing unique skills and ability among children and youth, inspiring them to become achievers, leaders and innovators. These camps offer a unique blend of experiential learning and hands-on activities, helping children and youth unfold their potential and develop essential life skills.

Continuing this legacy, EDII conducted the 46th and 47th National Summer Camps on Entrepreneurial Stimulation for Children. The 46th summer camp, held from May 3 to 8, 2026, witnessed participation of 115 students from six states. The 47th summer camp was organized during May 24 to 29, 2026, brought together 117 students from 11 states. Both camps focused on children aged 12–16 years, aimed to instil the ‘Spirit of Enterprise and Achievement’ by encouraging creativity, confidence, teamwork and critical thinking.

In a landmark move, Sheth Dhanji Devshi Kelavani Fund (DDKF), Mumbai sponsored 34 students for 46th & 47th National Summer Camps for Children and 49th & 50th Summer Camps for Youth. Dr. Sunil Shukla, Director General, EDII, during interactions with the officials of DDKF.

The Institute also conducted the 49th and 50th National Summer Camp on Entrepreneurial Adventures for Youth, designed for age group of 16-22 years. The 49th Summer Camp, held from May 11 to 20, 2026, at EDII Campus, saw the participation of 60 youths from 11 states. Continuing on this momentum, the 50th Summer Camp was conducted from June 1 to 10, 2026, with the participation of 78 youths from 13 states.

These residential camps included activities such as mental gyms, motivation exercises, puzzles, value education, industry visits, learning through success stories and idea presentation. Interactive sessions with leading entrepreneurs and achievers were also organized as part of the camp to help children and youth understand the dynamics of life and the significance of developing skills to deal with crises and failures.

Speaking during the valedictory session, he stated, “At your age, attending such camps is important, for it is here that true learning unfolds. Unlike school education which provides teaching, these camps teach you life skills and unique winning competencies. Rest assured you will discover the value of critical thinking, emotional stability, make sound choices, weigh options and taking right decisions and maximise the utility of resources available with you.”

Dr. Sunil Shukla, Director General, EDII, said, “EDII’s summer camp is designed to unlock the potential of ambitious children and youth by nurturing entrepreneurial traits and life skills in a vibrant, interactive setting. These summer camps developed skills and knowledge among children and youth enabling them to take charge of their future with confidence and clarity.”
