Position: Programme Manager – Clusters – 01

 

Qualification & Experience:

  • Post-Graduation in Rural Management/ Social Work/ Economics/ MBA
  • Must have a minimum of 4 years of experience in Micro Enterprise/ Entrepreneurship Development/ Self-Employment-related schemes and projects, preferably with experience in cluster development/managing FPOs
  • The candidate should possess excellent documentation and reporting skills, a high degree of computer literacy, data analysis ability, and good communication skills with fluency in English and Hindi.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Build and strengthen a network of all stakeholders in the project, with a specific focus on cluster-based development.
  • Engage with and ensure capacity-building activities for key stakeholders such as weavers, artisans, master artisans and community leaders within the cluster.
  • Devise and implement training programs tailored to cluster needs, focusing on credit management, market linkages, digital platforms, business development, enterprise development, soft skills, and exposure visits.
  • Work collaboratively with all stakeholders to set up and operationalize Common Facility Centres (CFCs) with assistance from the State Government, ensuring their alignment with cluster objectives.
  • Participate in all review meetings conducted by EDII Head Office to track and report progress.
  • Coordinate with subject matter experts to:
    • Maximize market linkages for cluster products annually.
    • Facilitate the initiation of export earnings.
    • Promote the cluster’s brand through exhibitions and establish market linkages with major regional retailers.
  • Drive the promotion and establishment of CFCs within clusters to enhance their productivity and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure measurable increases in cluster productivity year over year.
  • Organize and coordinate participation in state, national, and international exhibitions and fairs to promote handloom and other cluster products.
  • Develop standardized systems and processes, customized for stakeholder groups such as NGOs, artisans, traders, manufacturers, and weavers, to ensure sustainability of the cluster ecosystem.
  • Undertake any other tasks or activities assigned by the Regional Office (RO) or EDII Head Office.

Type of Employment:  On a Contract for 11 months, renewable based on performance.

 

Remuneration: Rs.50,000/- to Rs.70,000/- monthly

Position: Designer – 01

 

Qualification & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Design (specialization in Textile/Fashion Design/Fashion Communciation preferred) from a reputed institute.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in designing for traditional crafts, handloom, or handicraft clusters.
  • Proven experience in working with artisans, weavers, and other stakeholders in cluster development projects is preferred.
  • Proficient in using design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CorelDraw, or similar tools.
  • Good understanding of market trends, color palettes, and design innovation for traditional and contemporary markets.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to train and guide artisans and stakeholders.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Conduct need assessment and baseline studies within the cluster to identify traditional craft styles, techniques, and market demand.
  • Design and develop innovative product lines that blend traditional craft techniques with contemporary products so as to enhance the marketability of cluster products.
  • Work closely with weavers, artisans, and master craftspeople to provide training in modern design techniques, quality standards, and production efficiency.
  • Ensure the integration of sustainable and eco-friendly practices in product development and packaging.
  • Create design catalogues, technical design sheets, and samples to support marketing and sales efforts.
  • Facilitate capacity-building workshops to empower artisans and weavers with new design skills and knowledge of market expectations.
  • Support the branding and packaging of cluster products.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to develop promotional materials, participate in exhibitions, and engage in brand-building activities for the cluster.
  • Maintain an updated portfolio of cluster products and prepare documentation for progress reporting and impact analysis.
  • Identify and facilitate linkages with buyers, retailers, and exporters to enhance market outreach for cluster products.
  • Coordinate with Common Facility Centres (CFCs) in the cluster to ensure proper design execution and quality control.
  • Undertake any other tasks assigned by the Regional Office (RO) or EDII Head Office.

Qualification & Experience:

  • Master’s Degree in Rural Management/Social Work/ Economics/MBA and interest in working with rural artisans.
  • Must have minimum working experience of 1 to 2 years in Govt. related Projects. Working under SFURTI project or in Livelihood, Micro Management, Financial Literacy will be an added advantage. However, freshers are also encouraged to apply.

Job Description: 

  • Coordinate with Project Director, Project Coordinator, Subject Matter Experts and Community Mobilizers for implementation of the project.
  • Visiting the project locations as and when required by the Institute
  • Preparing Diagnostic Study Report (DPR), strategic documents concerning project design, planning and implementation, such as result frameworks, work plans, key milestones/targets, program budget, budget allocation etc.
  • Undertake day to day management of the project, including smooth project implementation
  • Understanding appropriate business ideas and technology solutions
  • Ensure the timelines and quality of the outputs as well as timely preparation of reports on achievements and challenges faced within the project.
  • Monitoring and handling the activities related to Project
  • Data analysis and evaluation related to the programs
  • To participate in the review or any other meetings held by different stakeholders / sponsors on the progress of the activities.

Position: IT – Officer – 1

 

Job Location: Bengaluru

 

Education & Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Application/ Engineering with experience in software development/ Website management/online business development/ monitoring and evaluation. The position is of IT officer with 1-2 years’ experience in the relevant field. Ability to work independently and to adapt to a fast-changing environment. Creative, self-disciplined, and capable of identifying and completing critical tasks independently and with a sense of urgency.

Roles and Responsibilities

  1. Website Maintenance
    • Transferring data from forms, sheets, CSV files, etc. to the website. Activating members on the website.
    • Maintaining the website—Drupal CMS/PHP. Fixing bugs, etc. Minor customization on the website. Updating the content on Drupal CMS—like pages, posts, and images.
    • Should be able to change themes and plugins on Drupal and fix any issues if there are any.
    • Writing requirement documents for the website and other documents needed for the IT project.
    • Writing and reviewing the use cases.
    • Writing and reviewing test cases.
    • Executing test cases, and doing testing of the website.
    • Doing thorough functional testing of the website and communicating it to the development team.
    • Should know how to do the setup of e-commerce module and payment gateway for the website (drupal).
    • Capturing data from APIs and e-commerce and payment gateway sites.
    • Should have knowledge of sending automatic emails through scripting and/or 3rd party tool.
    • Should have the knowledge to send automatic SMS transactions, OTP and drip SMS, etc. using scripting and/or 3rd party too.
    • Manage the test server and production server separately for the website.
  1. Website Development 
    • Building 1 website like Wix, Squarespace, Shopify, Godaddy/Big Rock, etc with an easy page builder.
    • Should be able to register domains 
    • Should be able to purchase and use server spaces needed for website
  1. Android App Maintenance
    • Should be able to launch the app on the Play Store 
    • Should be able to maintain and update app on Play Store
  1. Documentation
    • Ensuring data is available and pulled for report-making
    • Organize all data as needed for the project
    • Organize all the files and folders as needed for the project

 

Type of Employment: On a Contractual basis.

 

Maximum Salary: Rs. 30,000 Rs – Rs. 35,000 CTC
