EDII INVITES APPLICATIONS FOR THE POSTS OF STATE PROJECT COORDINATOR, PROJECT ASSISTANT, ZONAL PROJECT COORDINATOR, MIS COORDINATOR FOR PROJECT VAN DHAN VIKAS KENDRAS (VDVKS- MEGHALAYA)
Position: State Project Coordinator– 01
Location: Assam/ Meghalaya
Qualification & Experience:
- Master’s Degree (Preferably in Rural Management/Social Work/ Agri-Business /Economics/ MSW/ MBA)
- 5 to 7 years of relevant experience Micro enterprise/ Entrepreneurship Development/ Self Employment/ Livelihood/ Women’s related schemes and projects in developmental sector or similar fields.
Job Description:
- Engage with and ensure capacity-building activities for key stakeholders such as weavers, artisans, master artisans and community leaders within the cluster.
- Devise and implement training programs tailored to cluster needs, focusing on MFP value addition, market linkages, business development, enterprise development
- Work collaboratively with all stakeholders for an efficient and effective operations of the VDVKs with assistance from the State Government, ensuring their alignment with project objectives.
- Travel to project sites as and when required
- Monitor day-to-day activities of the VDVKs and track their trainings and progress
- Coordinate and lead the zonal manpower for an effective and timely implementation of the project
- Monitoring of the cluster activities, preparation of reports and IEC materials etc.
- Oversee the MFP value addition trainings and oversee capacity building training programs for VDVKs members.
- Participate in all review meetings conducted by EDII Head Office to track and report progress.
- Act as a liaison between the Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India (EDII) and various local stakeholders and project beneficiaries. Facilitate partnerships between stakeholders, including government agencies, NGOs, and private sector entities.
Type of Employment: On Contractual basis for 11 months.
Remuneration: CTC: ₹40,000 per month. Additional travel allowance (8000) will be provided
Project Assistant – 02
Location: Meghalaya
Qualification & Experience:
- Graduate/ Master’s Degree (Preferably in Rural Management/Social Work/ Agri-Business /Economics/ MSW/ MBA)
- Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in Micro enterprise/ Entrepreneurship Development/ Self Employment/ Livelihood/ Women’s related schemes and projects in developmental sector or similar fields.
- Experience in agro- forestry value addition training at the community level.
- Must be fluent in Khasi/ Garo/ Pnar and English
- Must have worked or have a fair understanding of Meghalaya in community development programs/ projects

Position: MIS Coordinator
Location: Assam/ Meghalaya
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Data Science or any related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in MIS reporting or data management/ analysis.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Office Suite. and data visualization tools
- Collect project data from field staff and maintain an updated database.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to present data insights clearly to non-technical teams.
Job Description:
- Collect, analyze, and interpret business data for actionable insights.
- Manage and maintain MIS systems, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
- Create reports and dashboards using tools like Excel, Power BI, or MS Office Suite.
- Provide ad-hoc and regular performance reports to management.
- Support project head with data visualization and MIS.
Type of Employment: On Contractual basis for 11 months.
Remuneration: CTC: ₹25,000 per month.

EDII INVITES APPLICATIONS FOR THE TEAM LEADERS FOR DAHOD POTTERY CLUSTER, DAHOD AND KOLHAPURI CHAPPAL CLUSTER, KOLHAPUR
EDII is functioning as Technical Support Agency (TSA) and implementing the National Rural Livelihood Mission (NRLM) sponsored cluster development project in the following nonfarm clusters with support of respective State Rural Livelihoods Missions:
- Dahod Pottery Cluster, Dahod – Gujarat Implemented by Gujarat State Rural Livelihood Mission
- Kolhapuri Chappal Cluster, Kolhapur – Maharashtra, Implemented by Maharashtra State Rural Livelihood Mission
A Producers Company (PC) has been promoted in this cluster. Suitable candidate is required for the position of Team Leader to lead this Producers Company to efficiently manage the PC, ensure timely completion of the project activities and oversee the business operations of the PC.
Team Leader – 02
Locations: Dahod, Gujarat / Kolhapur, Maharashtra
Qualification & Experience:
- Master’s degree/Diploma in Business Management/ Development Studies/Rural Management or related specialization with at least 8 – 15 years of experience in cluster development (particularly non-farm / artisanal cluster), institutional building, market development and/ or other areas relevant to this assignment.
- Work experience in the domain of livelihood. Experience in working with collectives or cluster development projects/ garment industry would be an added advantage.
- Strong oral and written communication / negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently to achieve performance objectives, deliverables and sales targets.
- Working knowledge of local Language, excellent documentation and computer skills in MS Office, MIS etc.
Job Description
- Responsible and accountable to the Board of Directors of PC & Office Bearers of the PC
- Assist the Board in formulation of goals, strategies, plans and policies.
- Ensure various legal compliances – Board meetings, book keeping, audit, annual returns etc.
- Ensure timely preparation and submission of reports as required by the Board and external support agencies.
- Managing day-to-day affairs of the PC.
- Discharge such other functions as may be delegated by the Board.
- Services to members under the overall guidance of the BoD
- Identifying opportunities for scaling up business of the PC / welfare of members, studies, business plan development and operationalization of the business plan.
- Provide different services to the members as per direction of the Board. Such services include marketing of the produce of members, input supply to members, productivity enhancement services etc.
- Information, training & orientation to members.
- Resource (financial, technical) mobilization for the PC.
- Ensure setting up /access to the required infrastructure for production and related activities of the PC.
- Organizational systems and compliances
- Maintain proper books of account; prepare annual accounts and audit thereof; place the audited accounts before the Board and in the annual general meeting of the Members.
- Recruit other staff, on direction of the Board, monitor their performance.
- Establish and operationalize different required systems in the PC – Accounting & Book keeping, Monitoring & MIS, Production, Marketing, Governance, HR etc.
- Dealing with support agencies, contracts / MoU, coordinate with them.
- Work closely and report to BOD, TSA and the SRLM.
- Oversee implementation of project activities within set timeline and budgets. Plan and execute production and related activities and ensure profitability of the PC.
Type of Employment:
On a Contract for 11 months, renewable based on performance.
Remuneration: Rs.50,000/- to Rs.60,000/- monthly
