A group of economically and socially deprived women came to know about EDII through officials of the NTPC township welfare association and EDII-organized meetings. Women attended a week-long Entrepreneurship Training Development Programme, they gained basic business, marketing, and financial skills. Women recognized the demand for pure, high-quality masala powders like mirchi, haldi, dhaniya, garam masala, sabji masala, in the Singrauli area. 

Starting their business posed numerous challenges. The women lacked financial knowledge, including pricing and bookkeeping, selling products in the market, operating machinery and maintaining consistent product quality were also difficult. Initial investment through the project and EDII mentorship proved essential. 

The women emphasized the invaluable support received from EDII mentors in product development, packaging, and sales techniques. EDII guidance helped them understand and overcome business challenges. Now, with a successful business, they have ambitious future plans: expanding their product, reaching new markets through online platforms and retail stores in other cities, increasing production capacity, and strengthening their brand through effective marketing strategies. Their journey is a testament to the life-changing impact of training, mentorship, and entrepreneurial spirit on women.
