Driven by a desire to improve her family’s livelihood, Sangeetha, from Salem, came to know about the EDII’s Micro Skill Development Programme (MSDP) through a newspaper advertisement. Sangeetha was show interest and actively participated in the 16-day training programme. During the programme, the Enterprise Support Officer conducted a session on credit linkage and various subsidy schemes. This training programme provided her knowledge and skills for start her own business.

Sangeetha initially funded her business investment from her own savings. Later, with the support of the EDII Salem team, she applied for a loan. The Enterprise Support Officer provided comprehensive assistance throughout the loan application process under the PMFME scheme. After the bank manager’s verification, the loan was successfully processed. Sangeetha now plans to further expand her business. Her story is a testament to the power of accessible training and dedicated support in empowering aspiring entrepreneurs.
