Tree Based Enterprise Incubation Centre in Assam
The Tree HUB, a Tree Based Enterprise (TBE) Incubation Centre in Assam, is approved by Trees Outside Forests in India (TOFI) – Centre for International Forestry Research and World Agroforestry (CIFOR-ICRAF) and funded by United States Agency for International Development (USAID). It aims to foster the growth of TBEs by enhancing skills, technology adoption, business planning, finance linkages, and marketing support, while reducing risks through trial manufacturing and incubation services. The Centre serves as a crucial support system for Farmer Producer Organizations and aspiring entrepreneurs, fostering a sustainable TBE ecosystem in the region.
EDII is actively supporting 50 MSMEs through TOF Hubs; imparting training and technical assistance to support TBE development and instituting a cadre of 20 trained incubation managers.
Project DMF UDYAMI

The Institute is implementing a 5-year Project DMF UDYAMI, initiated in April 2025, in Odisha to empower 10000 youth. Focusing on 7 blocks of Keonjhar district, the initiative aims to foster self-employment and entrepreneurship among marginalized communities by offering capacity building, mentoring, counselling, guidance, and ongoing support.
Entrepreneurship Development Programme for Stone Artisans

The programme conducted from September 2 to 13, 2024, aimed to strengthen the entrepreneurial skills of stone artisans by equipping them with knowledge and skills needed to grow and sustain their businesses. Focusing on key aspects of entrepreneurship, the training offered valuable insights and practical skills to help artisans enhance both their craft and business.
16 participants were trained under this initiative. They benefitted in terms of entrepreneurial competencies, communication skill, market survey tools & techniques and financial management.
