Subhalaxmi Udyogini is a women centric project initiated with the support of Vedanta Limited to strengthen the Subhalaxmi Cooperative, which is a women led Cooperative with 4000 shareholders, registered in 23rd September 2008. The 3-year project is supported and initiated by Vedanta CSR and aims to strengthen the Subhalaxmi Bahumukhee Mahila Samabaya Samiti Limited by creating a membership base of 10,000, with enterprise promotion for 70% of members, thus raising the income levels of members by 50% from the current level, and simultaneously ensuring convergence with government supported schemes.
