With the objective of fostering self-reliance and income generation among rural youth, EDII, in partnership with Utkal Alumina International Limited (UAIL), has been implementing UDYAMEE 2.0 to promote enterprise creation in the non-farm and Agri-allied sectors. The project is being executed through a Rural Incubation Centre, which provides comprehensive handholding support—from idea generation to enterprise execution, marketing, formalisation, and access to finance.

UDYAMEE Phase II (2024–2027) commenced on August 2024 with the aim of nurturing 350 new entrepreneurs. In Phase 2.0 (2024–2027), the project successfully trained and supported 307 youth entrepreneurs building on the success of Phase I.
