EDII, with sponsorship of ONGC under its CSR initiative, successfully implemented the ATHAK Bharat Project in the tribal-dominated Dang district of Gujarat. The three-year project (July 2022 – March 2025) aimed to strengthen tribal communities by fostering institutional capacity, entrepreneurship and legal formalization of micro enterprises and collectives.
The project visibly empowered tribal community members, particularly women, to pursue entrepreneurial pathways, access government schemes, and participate actively in Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs).
