ICICI Foundation and EDII have collaborated to identify Ahmedabad-based artisans of the languishing craft, ‘Mata ni Pachhedi’ and intervene through various hard interventions so as to make around 80 selected artisans, sustainable. Towards enabling proper execution, the interventions over one year include base-line study; design interventions; packaging interventions; branding & outreach; establishment of Common Facility Centres (CFCs) and supply chain, creating digital identity and ensuring sustenance through startups.
